Terms of service

1. Who we are

TripleBarrier (triplebarrier.com) is operated by RooFork LLC, a Florida, USA limited liability company (“RooFork”, “we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of the site and the Backtest Audit. By using either, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement.

2. The service

One $65 payment buys exactly one analysis run of the Backtest Audit: a server-side analysis of one trading strategy and its backtest, based on the material you submit, producing a written verdict report saved to your account. Each further purchase adds one further run. A run that fails before producing a report is restored to your account automatically — a failed run is not a used run.

The report is informational analysis of user-provided data: statistical diagnostics computed from what you paste, and a written interpretation of the quality of that evidence. What it is not is spelled out in the disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

3. Accounts

You need an account to buy and run an audit — it is where your run credit and your reports live. Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and treat activity under your account as yours. How we handle account data is in the privacy policy.

4. Payment and refunds

Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your card number. Each run has a real compute cost the moment it executes, so a run that has produced a report is not refundable. If a run fails, the credit comes back automatically. If you believe something on our side went wrong, email hello@triplebarrier.com and we will look at it case by case — an unused, unrun credit is a reasonable thing to ask a refund for.

5. Your submission

You keep ownership of everything you paste into the audit. You grant us the limited right to process it for one purpose: producing your report. You are responsible for having the right to submit the material — don't paste code or data that belongs to someone else without permission, and don't submit anything unlawful.

6. Acceptable use

Don't attack, probe, or overload the service; don't try to circumvent run credits, rate limits, or access controls; don't scrape the site or resell access to it; don't present a report as our endorsement of a strategy — the disclaimer says exactly what a report means. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Content and ownership

The site, its instruments, sample reports, and code are RooFork's. Your report is yours: keep it, quote it, share it. What you may not do is alter it and present the altered version as ours.

8. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The audit evaluates the statistical evidence in the material you provide; it cannot verify that your data is real or complete, and it can miss flaws. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the analysis will catch every problem, or that any trading strategy — audited or not — will be profitable or avoid losses.

9. Limitation of liability

Trading decisions are yours alone, and so are their results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RooFork is not liable for trading or investment losses, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the site or a report — and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnification

If your use of the service, your submission, or your violation of these terms gets us sued, you agree to defend and indemnify RooFork against the resulting claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when we last did. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. Questions go to hello@triplebarrier.com.
